Spreadsheet Import — We’ve made several enhancements to spreadsheet imports. You can now monitor import progress in real time and receive an email when your import completes or encounters an issue. We’ve also improved the speed and reliability of large imports, making them more efficient and reducing the chance of interruptions.

Hay Production — Hay production records now include fields for Dry Matter (DM), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), and Relative Feed Value (RFV). These values have also been added to the Hay Production report, making it easier to record, review, and analyze forage quality data.

Contacts — Contact custom fields can now be added as selectable columns in the Contact Report, making it easier to view and export the information that’s most important to you.

Breed Interface — Customers using the American Angus Association interface can now include foot scores when exporting animal data.

Group Update — You can now use group filters when selecting cattle for a Sale Ticket, making it faster and easier to find the animals you want to include.

Group Update — When using a Group Update to change an animal’s status to Sold, a Sale Ticket is now required to help ensure complete and accurate sale records..

Sale Tickets — You can now filter Sale Tickets by a selected date range, making it easier to find and review sales from a specific time period.

Reports — Added Maternal Granddam and Maternal Grandsire as selectable columns in reports, providing additional pedigree information for analysis and recordkeeping.

Partners

New Partner — CattleMax now connects with Fusion, making it easy to share detailed cattle records with participating feedlots at the time of sale. By exporting key animal information directly from CattleMax, you can reduce duplicate data entry, minimize errors, and ensure valuable records stay with your cattle throughout the production process.

By bringing this information together in one place, you can better evaluate cattle performance and make more informed breeding, culling, and management decisions.

Measurements — Weaning and Yearling measurement ranks are now calculated automatically, saving time and ensuring consistent rankings.

Animal Status — When a harvest date is entered, the animal’s status is now automatically updated to Dead, helping keep records accurate and eliminating an extra step.

Group Update — Pelvic and reproductive measurements can now be entered for each animal directly from Group Update, making it faster and easier to record individual measurements for multiple animals.

Worksheets — Added a Comments column to the Calving worksheet, making it easier to capture and review additional notes alongside calving records.

Measurements — Average Daily Gain (ADG) is now automatically calculated using an animal’s Last Weight measurement by default, reducing manual calculations and streamlining data entry.

Flush — You can now enter an Owner during flush entry and apply it to all records at once, making data entry faster and more consistent.

Pregnancy Check — You can now enter Comments in the group-fill section of the Pregnancy Check screen, reducing repetitive data entry when recording notes for multiple animals.

Group Update — Added a Reference Measurement field to the group-fill section of Measurement Group Updates, making it easier to apply the same reference measurement across multiple animals.

Reports — Cow Reports can now be sorted by Calf Ear Tag, making it easier to organize and review cow-calf records.

Sales — Sale Tickets now include Donation as a Marketing Method, making it easier to accurately document donated cattle.

Pregnancy Check — Added a Technician field to the Pregnancy Check screen, making it easy to record who performed each pregnancy check.

New Partner — CattleMax now connects with Zoetis, allowing customers to import and view INHERIT Select® genomic test results directly within their herd records. By keeping genomic data alongside your cattle records, you can save time, maintain consistent information across systems, and make more informed management and breeding decisions.
