Our Story
CattleMax was built in 1999 on a working cow-calf operation in Central Texas to solve an everyday problem: replacing paper notebooks with a practical system for managing herd records.
More than 25 years later, CattleMax remains independently owned by a ranching family, with no outside investors, and focused on the same people we started out serving: cattle producers. Because 100% of our revenue comes from customer subscriptions, we can stay focused on one thing - building practical cattle management software around the needs of the producers who use it every day.
That same focus still guides CattleMax today. With deep cattle-industry experience throughout our team, we continue to build simple, practical tools that make record-keeping easier, support better management decisions, and give ranchers more time to focus on their cattle.
