Your free trial includes full access to CattleMax, so you can add records, invite users, explore features, and see how it works for your operation. No credit card is required, and our support team is available to help during your trial.
CattleMax pricing is based on your plan type and the number of active animals you manage in your account. Pricing is per CattleMax account, not per animal, per ranch, or per user. Every plan includes unlimited users.
Active animals are the animals currently in your herd. Sold, deceased, archived, historical, and pedigree-only records do not count toward billing. Your active animal count is based on the animals currently managed as active in CattleMax.
Yes. You can keep past records for sold, deceased, culled, archived, and historical animals without those animals counting toward your active animal total, as long as they are no longer marked active.
Choose Commercial if you mainly need cattle records for a cow-calf operation, including breeding, calving, health, weights, pasture, expenses, and reports.
Choose Registered if you sell registered cattle, collect breed association data, manage pedigrees, track EPDs/EBVs, record embryo flushes or transfers, or need breed association interfaces.
If you have both commercial and registered cattle, Registered is usually the better fit because it includes everything in Commercial plus registered-cattle tools.
Yes. Our rancher-led support team can help you get started, answer setup questions, and point you to resources for importing or entering your records. We also provide help articles, tutorial videos, live classes, and one-on-one support options.
You can adjust your plan as your active animal count changes. If your herd grows, you can move to the right plan for your new size. If your active animal count decreases, you can update your plan when your operation changes.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel when needed, and monthly plans are billed monthly while annual plans are billed annually.
