Quarterly Product Updates
CattleMax Updates: Built for your day-to-day
We’ve wrapped up another round of updates in CattleMax, focused on making everyday work a little smoother, reports easier to manage, and your data even more useful.
These updates come straight from real-world use and feedback from folks using CattleMax every day, and they’re built to help you get more done with less hassle.
Here’s what’s new this quarter:
Easier Report Exports (Without the Wait)
Exporting reports and worksheets just got more user-friendly.
- No more waiting for large files to generate before moving on
- Clear messaging lets you know when your file is ready
- Expired links now route to a helpful landing page so you’re not left guessing
We’ve also added a loading indicator so you’ll know right away if your report will be ready quickly or running in the background.
Bottom line: start your report and keep working while it finishes.
Zoetis Connection Now Available
We’ve added a new connection with Zoetis to help bring your genetic data into the same place you’re already managing your herd.
- Import Zoetis INHERIT Select® results directly into CattleMax
- View genomic data alongside your animal records
- Keep everything consistent without extra data entry
Instead of jumping between systems or working off spreadsheets, your genetic information is tied right to each animal.
What this means: clearer insight when making breeding and replacement decisions, without extra steps.
Improved Breed Interface (AAA)
For those working with the American Angus Association (AAA), we’ve made updates to help keep your records clean and accurate:
- Added a Secondary ID dropdown when editing animals
- Built-in duplicate ID prevention to catch errors before they happen
Less cleanup later, and fewer headaches along the way.
More Insight in Animal Groups
We’ve added Maternal Grandsire as a selectable column in Animal Groups.
It’s one more way to sort and evaluate your cattle, especially when making breeding or replacement decisions.
Contact Management Made Easier
You can now update contacts in groups, making it faster to manage multiple records at once.
Whether you’re organizing customers, buyers, or partners, this update helps cut down on repetitive edits.
Improvements & Updates
We’ve also made a few improvements to keep everything running smoothly:
- Improved adding new contacts from the Owner dropdown on the Embryo screen
- Updated Steer Reports when Longhorn settings are enabled
- Improved AWA (American Wagyu Association) imports for steers
- Simplified display by hiding the Reproduction Measurements section on bull profiles
Wrapping Up
These updates may seem small on their own, but together they add up to a faster, smoother experience inside CattleMax.
Less waiting.
Less double-checking.
More time focused on your operation.
As always, we appreciate the feedback that drives these improvements. If you have questions or ideas for what you’d like to see next, don’t hesitate to contact us.
