Connected for Better Decisions

New Industry Connection:
Ranchbot Sensors and Rainfall in CattleMax

We’re excited to share a new connection that brings your Ranchbot sensors—like water tank monitors and rain gauges—straight into your CattleMax account. Now you can see Ranchbot sensor icons on your CattleMax Pastures map, click to view the latest details, and even auto-populate rainfall in your records. Less tab-hopping, more ranch-ready decisions.

What’s new in CattleMax:

  • Ranchbot sensors on your Pastures map – See an icon for each Ranchbot sensor you’ve connected.

  • One-click details – Click an icon to view sensor information, with a quick link out to your Ranchbot account if you want to dive deeper.

  • Rainfall, automatically – Optionally auto-add rainfall to your CattleMax records (shows current rainfall and past 24 hours).

Why it helps producers:

  • Everything in one place – Your grazing, water, and rainfall info together in CattleMax.

  • Cleaner records – Consistent, automatic rainfall entries keep your data tidy.

  • Faster decisions – Spot issues and act sooner, without bouncing between systems.

Get Started:

  1. Set up your connection
  2. Head to your Pastures page and look for Ranchbot icons. Click any icon to see details for that sensor, plus a quick link to your Ranchbot account.
Tip: You can toggle the rainfall auto-add option in the Ranchbot connection window anytime.

Visit our Help Article for step-by-step setup guidance, or schedule a demo to see the Ranchbot connection in action. We’re here to get you up and running as smoothly as possible.

We hope you find these new updates helpful. As always, we welcome feedback and suggestions.
