Apple / Mac cattle software compatibility
Introduction
Using CattleMax on a Mac is a question we receive often. Though CattleMax is a Windows program based on Microsoft's Office Access technology, it is possible for Mac users to run CattleMax.
To do this, you will need a Windows Virtualization program AND a Windows operating system software (XP or Vista). Install the Windows Virtualization software first which will then guide you to install the Windows Operating system.

Windows Virtualization software products (only 1 is needed)
- Parallels has very tight integration with OSX including the ability to double click on Windows files from within OSX. The downside was the performance was slower than VMWare Fusion.
Apple Bootcamp - Included with new Intel Macs at no additional charge. Unlike VMWare and Parallels, Bootcamp requires you to reboot to access your Windows installation.
